November 2nd: Deputy Rusty Owens was dispatched to FM 288 at the Sabine River Authority with regard to a burglary. The suspect(s) had cut the fence to gain entry to the property. The items stolen include a red Honda 2-inch pump with a 5 HP engine, two 10-foot threaded stainless steel rods, a black cat dozer battery and a black 20-foot extension cord with two hot wires and plugs to plug into a building. These items are valued at $17,700. The case is under investigation.

November 1st: Deputy Threadgill was dispatched to the 200 block of CR 2174 at 8:18 a.m. in the Quitman area with regard to a report of assault/family violence. The victim advised that her husband had choked her. The suspect had left the residence. On investigation a warrant was issued for Michael Wayne Sebring, age 40. He was arrested that afternoon for family violence (impeding breathing). Bond was set at $10,000.

October 31st: Deputy Samantha Sellers was dispatched to the 6200 block of FM 779 in the Golden area with regard to a burglary. The victim advised that unknown suspect(s) had pried open his front door to gain entry to the residence. He advised that the suspect(s) had stolen a Marlin 22 bolt-action rifle with a scope, a Compaq laptop, a brief case, an open-face pocket watch, a box of coins, and ammunition for.243, .357 and .22 caliber guns. The total value of the items taken is $1,335. The case is under investigation.

On the same date, Deputy Adams was dispatched to the 200 block of CR 1558 at the Lake Fork Marina in the Alba area with regard to a burglary. The victim advised that unknown suspect(s) had entered a locked room and stolen an I Pad 32GB with a vinyl case valued at $875. The case is under investigation.

October 29th: Deputy J.W. Williams was dispatched to the lobby of the sheriff's office with regard to an assault that took place in the 2800 block of Hwy 154 west. The case is under investigation.

On the same date, Deputy Williams along with Deputy Brad Armendariz arrested Michael Ray Powell Jr. for hindering the apprehension of Travis Herrera Holder, a burglary suspect.

Also on this date, Deputy Josh O'Grady was dispatched to the ETMC emergency room in Quitman with regard to an assault that had taken place in the 2300 block of CR 2700 in Mineola. The victim was assaulted by several people at the residence.

On the same date, Sgt. Aaron Warren along with several other deputies was dispatched at 2:18 a.m. to the 100 block of CR 1689 with regard to an assault. On arrival, they found the suspect had left the scene. On investigation a warrant was issued for Michael Shane Wright, 41, He was arrested on this date at 11:57 a.m.

Finally on this date, Deputy David Hitt was on routine patrol on FM 515 in the Yantis area and made contact with a subject who had bloodshot eyes. Colten John Powell, 20, was placed under arrest for the unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor.

Also on this date, Deputy J.W. Williams arrested 21 year-old Travis Herrera Holder for a burglary. This occurred after the recovery of several guns that had been recovered and were linked back to Holder from more than one burglary location in Wood County. Deputy Williams conducted the investigation that led to the owners of the guns getting their property back and a warrant for Holder. He is being held at the Wood County Jail on a $10,000 bond.

October 28th: Deputy Nathan Adams was dispatched to the 200 block of CR 1950 at the Gateway Apartments with regard to a theft. Unknown suspect(s) had stolen ten General Electric 220-volt window A/C units valued at $4,000, and five refrigerators valued at $1,000.

On the same date, Deputy Chris Bettis met with a victim in the lobby of the sheriff's office with regard to the theft of a 12-gauge Remington 870 shotgun valued at $400.

October 27th: Deputy Sellers was dispatched to the 800 block of CR 4627 in the Winnsboro area with regard to terroristic threats. On investigation, a warrant for terroristic threats was issued for the arrest pf Jeremy Clinton Gilbreath.

Oct. 26th: On this date, Wood County narcotic units arrested 32-year-old Kimberly Jean Limbaugh and 28-year-old John David Moore for a burglary on CR 1700 in Wood County. These arrests came after a lengthy investigation by the county narcotics unit and the Hopkins County Sheriff's Office that led to the recovery of numerous items taken from the residence that was burglarized. It was also found that some of the items stolen from the residence were linked to narcotics in the Hopkins County area and charges are pending further investigation on other suspects.Oct. 24th: Deputy Rusty Owens was dispatched to the 1500 block of CR 4255 in the Winnsboro area with regard to a burglary of a locked building. The victim advised that unknown suspect(s) had stolen a muffler, two tailpipes, four custom chrome five-hole wheels, four 235 75 R15 tires, a brown 8 slate Dearborn heater, a white propane heater with electric lighter, a white Sharp microwave, a white Munsey buffet range with two burners plus pots and pans, all valued at $2,220. The case is under investigation.

On the same date, Deputy Robbie Ballard was dispatched to the 1200 block of FM 49 in the Mineola area with regard to a burglary. The victim advised that a red toolbox with tools and a 30.06 bolt-action rifle with a scope were stolen. The toolbox and rifle are valued at $1,100. The case is under investigation.

Oct. 23rd: Deputies Threadgill, Adams, Williams and South were dispatched to CR 1858 with regard to unknown suspect(s) having stolen over $19,000 worth of fishing equipment from four boats parked at the Lake Fork Marina. The case is under investigation.

Oct. 22nd: Deputy Nathan Adams was dispatched to FM 2869 and FM 14 in the Hawkins area with regard to a report of criminal mischief. The victim advised that unknown suspect(s) had damaged the ignition of a Lexus in an attempt to steal the vehicle. The cost to repair the ignition is $1,000. The case is under investigation.

Oct. 20th: Deputy Williams was dispatched to CR 4878 and CR 4865 to meet with a victim with regard to the theft of four new Prefiert 16-inch cattle panels having been stolen. The panels are valued at $260. The case is under investigation.

Oct. 19th: Deputy Williams was dispatched to the 300 block of CR 1520 in the Alba area. Over 1500 feet of copper was removed from the walls of a home. The case is under investigation.

Oct. 11th: On this date, the Wood County narcotics unit made a traffic stop on CR 4490 which resulted in the driver of the vehicle, Trevor Seabolt, being arrested for possession of marijuana, over three ounces. Seabolt was taken to the Wood County Jail and booked for possession of marijuana, over two ounces and under four ounces. He was released on a $3,000 bond. On Oct. 14th, a warrant for motion to revoke Seabolt's probation was issued.

During the period, there were 81 males and 19 females at the Wood County Jail for an overall total of 100. There were 18 bookings and 28 releases.
