County's 4 Lakes-pier permit procedure changes.

Meeting in regular session Friday, October 28, with no public made, Wood County Commissioners approved 6 personell actions,two each in Elections, Upper Sabine Valley & the Sheriff's department. Then they approved a payroll of $293,106.13 and Health insurance claims of $60,416.35, Accts payable of $635,876.96 & voided checks of $1,985.00.

Item 6, bids for Commissioner Pace's Cat Motor Grader, Pace reported all bids were rejected and said he would use the eq. for a trade in on a replacement.

They awarded Deaton Communication contract to replace the County's Radio Tower for $93,752. RFP#11-001.

Approved payment $350 to Lowe Funeral Home for indigent burial.

Approved Pam Thurman as the Mineola rep. for WCIC

Approved order of Assignment of Senior Judge Richard Davis, of 294th District Court to the 402nd District Court of Wood County for a period of 3 days begining on 10-11-11.

It was stamped and filed on 10-11-11, # 22454.

Agenda #11 was passed:contractw/ Department of Health Services in amt. of $34,131.78, ends on 8-31-12.

Dr. David Hurley was approved for a two year period as the Local Health Authority for the County.

Approved of renewal of lease agreements w/ the Texas Health & Human Services Commission for Quitman & Mineola offices for 1 yera ending 12-31-12.

Approved Agenda #14, which is a revision to County's Lake pier permit to a case by case restriction on pier length to be approved by the appropriate commissioner or designee.

No action was taken on the County's treasurer's report, Agenda #15.

Approved renewal of contract with Southern Health Partners for Inmate medical effective on 12-1-11for a base monthly fee of $6,681.00 for one year.

The next regular meeting of the Wood County Commissioners Court will be Thursday, November 10, 2011 at 10 a.m, due to Veterans Day holiday on Friday. A special meeting of the court can be called with 72-hour public notice.
