Wood County Crime Stoppers offers cash rewards for information that leads to the arrest of a fugitive wanted in a case. When you call 903-763-CASH, your information to Crime Stoppers is confidential and you can remain anonymous.

When you give your information, you will be assigned a special reference number for your call. You can use this number at a later date to claim a reward if your information leads to an arrest. You do NOT need to give your name.

Crime Stoppers may pay a reward up to $1,000 for information on any warrant that leads to an arrest and indictment.

April 13th: Deputy Nathan Adams was dispatched to the 200 block of CR 2400 in the Mineola area with regard to a burglary of a vehicle. The victim advised that unknown suspects had entered his vehicle and stolen a carton of cigarettes, a JVC-Exad Stereo and some prescription medication. The case is under investigation. On the same dates, Deputy Adams was dispatched to the 200 block of CR 2426 in the Mineola area, also regarding the burglary of a vehicle. The victim advised that his unlocked 2007 Toyota pickup had been burglarized. A nickel-plated 357 revolver with pachmyr grips had been stolen from the glove compartment. The firearm is valued at $500. The case is under investigation.

Finally, on this date, Deputy Adams was dispatched to the 3200 block of FM2659 in the Hawkins area with regard to a residential burglary. The victim advised that unknown suspect(s) had pried open his back door to gain entry into his residence. He advised that his window air conditioning unit and two spools of copper wire had been taken. The case is under investigation.

April 11th: Deputy Josh O'Grady was dispatched to CR 2895 in the Mineola area with regard to a burglary. The victim advised that unknown suspect(s) had stolen a 2006 Suzuki Vinson 500 four-wheeler, a Camo 2007 King Quad 700 four-wheeler and a red Honda Rancher 150. The items together have a total value of $14,500. The case is under investigation.

April 10th: Deputy Adams was dispatched to the 9000 block of Hwy 80 East on a report of a theft. Four five-ton air-conditioners with heat pumps had been taken. The units are valued at $20,000. The case is under investigation.

On the same date, Deputy Adams was dispatched to the 2600 block of FM 1795 with regard to a residential burglary. The victim advised that unknown suspect(s) had unscrewed a window frame to gain entry to the house. Over 1,200 feet to copper wire were stolen. The case is under investigation.

April 9th: Deputy Robbie Ballard was on routine patrol on FM 515 when he observed a white passenger car failing to use a proper turn signal. After making contact with the driver, the driver, Lauren Hernandez of Dallas, was arrested for driving with an invalid license.

April 6th: Deputy Jimmie White was dispatched to the 400 block of PR 8547 in the Winnsboro area with regard to a burglary. The victim advised that unknown suspect(s) had stolen two Stihl chainsaws valued at over $1,150. The case is under investigation.

On the same date, Deputy Josh O'Grady was dispatched to the 1000 block of CR 3810 in the Hawkins area with regard to a theft of copper. The suspect(s) had stolen three condensers from air conditioning units. The case is under investigation.

During the period, there were 65 males and 3 females for a total of 68 at the Wood County Jail. There were 31 bookings and 37 releases.

On the same date, Deputy Sam Threadgill was on routine patrol on FM 17 South in the Alba area with regard to a vehicle in a ditch. On investigation and after contact with the driver, the driver, Amanda Dawn Benson of Tyler, was placed under arrest for driving while intoxicated. Bond was set at $1,000.

Finally, on this date, Deputy O'Grady was dispatched to Hwy 80 and Loop 564 in the Mineola area with regard of the theft of copper at a job site. The victim advised that he had left his truck and trailer at this location. When he returned, he found that unknown suspect(s) had stolen 60 feet of copper from his trailer. The copper is valued at $300. The case is under investigation.

April 4th: Deputy Threadgill was dispatched to the 1700 block of Hwy 154 West in the Quitman area with regard to a theft. The victim advised that unknown suspect(s) had taken tools, chains and ten three-gallon buckets of 90-weight tractor oil from a workover rig. The items stolen were valued at $4,400. The case is under investigation.

April 3rd: Deputy David Hitt met with a victim in the lobby of the Sheriff's office. The victim advised that his red 2003 Yamaha four-wheeler, valued at $3,000, had been stolen from his pasture. The case is under investigation.

On the same time, Deputy O'Grady met with a victim in the lobby of the Sheriff's office with regard to a criminal trespass that took place in the 1100 block of CR 2260 in the Mineola area. John Wayne Roberts was arrested for criminal trespass.

April 2nd: Deputy O'Grady was dispatched to the 400 block of CR 2297 in the Mineola area with regard to a burglary. The victim advised that unknown suspect(s) had entered his weekend home and stolen a Rigid 18-volt drill with battery, a first aid kit, and 19-inch TV with a built-in DVD player and a red 5-gallon portable air tank, all valued at $276. The case is under investigation.

April 1st: Deputy Guy Powell was dispatched to the 1400 block of Hwy 80 East at Jarvis Christian College with regard to a theft of a cell phone. The phone is a black and grey T-Mobile Galaxy G-4 model valued at $500. The victim advised that he had left the cell phone in his unlocked dormitory room. The case is under investigation.

During this period, there were 70 males and 6 females at the Wood County Jail for a total of 76. There were 19 bookings and 17 releases.
