Wood County Crime Stoppers offers cash rewards for information that leads to the arrest of a wanted fugitive. December 21st: Deputy Zackary Soto was dispatched to CR 1416 in Quitman with regard to a report of criminal mischief. The complainant advised that suspect(s) had missed the turn on the county road and collided with his fence. He said he just wanted the driver of the vehicle to repair his fence and he did not wish to pursue charges at this time. The case is closed.
December 20th: Deputy Sam Threadgill was dispatched to the 2200 block of FM 1647 in Winnsboro with regard to a burglary. The complainant advised that unknown suspect(s) had broken a window and entered his residence. He said that two firearms and cash were stolen from his residence. The case is under investigation.
December 19th: Deputy Nathan Adams was dispatched to the 600 block of CR 1681 with regard to an attempted theft. The complainant advised that someone had tried to steal her neighbor's motorcycle. The suspects tried to get away but managed to get their pickup wedged between some trees. They then got out of the vehicle through a window and ran off into the woods. The owners of the motorcycle were not home at the time of the attempted theft. The case is under investigation.
December 18th: Deputy Threadgill met with a complainant in the lobby of the sheriff's office. He advised that there were several unauthorized charges charged on his debit/credit card. The charges exceeded $2,700. The case is under investigation.
December 16th: Deputy Soto was dispatched to the 500 block of CR 4583 in Winnsboro with regard to a report of criminal mischief. The complainant advised that unknown suspect(s) had damaged her mailbox. The case is under investigation.
On the same date, Deputy Nathan Adams was dispatched to the 300 block of CR 2935 in Alba with regard to the burglary of a vehicle. The complainant advised that his GT Mag Crossbow was taken from his pickup. The crossbow was valued at $1,100. The case is under investigation.

December 15th: Deputy Samantha Sellers was dispatched to the 100 block of CR 2166 with regard to a person who was not allowed at the residence. John Dexter was arrested for violation of a protective order.
December 14th: Deputy Sellers was dispatched to the 900 block of CR 2500 in Mineola with regard to a burglary. The complainant advised that his home had been broken into and two handguns were taken. The case is under investigation.
On the same date, Deputy Adams was dispatched to the 1400 block of Hwy 80 East (Jarvis College) with regard to a subject who was not supposed to be on the property due to a criminal trespass citation. Wanisha Holbert was arrested for criminal trespass.
December 13th: Deputy Threadgill was dispatched to the 2900 block of FM 2869 in Hawkins on a report of criminal mischief. The complainant advised that unknown suspect(s) had shot the rear window out of his 2008 Ford van. The cost to replace the window is $400. The case is under investigation.
On the same date, Deputy Matt Gann was dispatched to FM 515 and FM 17 in Yantis with regard to a theft of medication. The complainant advised that he loaned his Dodge Ram pickup to a friend. When he got his vehicle back, his medication was missing. The case is under investigation.
Also on this date, Deputy Threadgill was dispatched to the 2200 block of FM 2869 in Hawkins with regard to a report of criminal mischief. The complainant advised that the front window of the Holly Lake Chevron had been broken out. Replacement costs for the window is over $400. The case is under investigation.
Finally, on this date, Deputy Aaron Warren was dispatched to the 2000 of FM 2869 to two location with regard to reports of criminal mischief. Both complainants advised that their glass doors had been shattered. The cost of both doors is $1,000 each. These cases are under investigation.
December 10th: Deputy J. W. Williams was dispatched to FM 14 and FM 2869 in Hawkins with regard to a criminal mischief report. The complainant advised that a window had been busted out. The case is under investigation.
