Wood County Crime Stoppers offers cash rewards for information that leads to the arrest of a fugitive wanted in a case. When you call 903-763-CASH, your information to Crime Stoppers is confidential and you can remain anonymous.
When you give your information, you will be assigned a special reference number for your call. You can use this number at a later date to claim a reward if your information leads to an arrest. You do NOT need to give your name.
Crime Stoppers may pay a reward up to $1,000 for information on any warrant that leads to an arrest and indictment.

November 9th: Deputy David Hill was dispatched to the CR 1124 (job site) in the Quitman area with regard to a criminal trespass report. Jimmy Darrell Curry was issued a criminal trespass warning to stay away from the Conger job site.
On the same date, Deputy Hill was dispatched to a well site on FM 17 in the Alba area with regard to a criminal trespass report. James Mitchell Sadler was on the property when deputies arrived. Sadler was placed under arrest for criminal trespassing.
November 8th: Deputy Nathan Adams was dispatched to a structure fire in the area of CR 2171 and CR 2150 in the Quitman area. On arrival, the fire was fully engulfed, The house was uninsured. The case has been forwarded to Fire Marshall Randy Selman for further investigation.
On the same date, Deputy Adams was dispatched to the 1400 block of Hwy 80 east at Jarvis College with regard to the theft of four ceiling-mount projectors, The case is under investigation.
Also on this date, Deputy Adams met with a victim in the lobby of the sheriff's office with regard to a theft. The victim advised that his renters had stolen a Whirlpool washer and dryer set from his rent house when they moved. The case is under investigation.
November 7th: Deputy J.W. Williams was dispatched to the 100 block of Johnson Lane in Yantis with regard to a disturbance in progress. On arrival, the victim advised that her son had assaulted her and left the residence walking west on Hwy 154. The suspect, Andrew Scott Wilson, was located on Hwy 154 and placed under arrest for assault/family violence.
On the same date, Deputy Sam Threadgill was dispatched to the 4000 block of CR 4560 in the Winnsboro area with regard to a theft. The victim advised that his 1990 Yamaha Big Bar 350 4x4 ATV had been stolen from his carport. The ATV is valued at $1,400. The case is under investigation.
Also on this date, Deputy Chris Turner was dispatched to the 300 block of PR 5885 in the Yantis area with regard to a burglary of a motor vehicle. The victim advised that his Chevrolet Suburban and Lincoln MKZ were both unlocked. He advised that unknown suspects had stolen a 45 caliber shotgun and an Ipod Nano valued at $900. After investigation, Nathan Rayner was placed under arrest. Bond was set at $1,500.
November 6th: Deputy J.W. Williams was dispatched to the 400 block of CR 2840 in the Mineola area. The victim advised that unknown suspect(s) had entered her locked home and stolen two rings and a prescription pain medication. The case is under investigation.
On the same date, Deputy Williams was dispatched to the 2200 block of CR 3840 in the Hawkins area with regard to a report of criminal mischief. The victim advised that unknown suspect(s) had cut all four of his tires on his red 1998 Chevy pickup. The tires are valued at $400. The case is under investigation.
November 5th: Deputy Sam Threadgill was dispatched to the 600 block of CR 3976 in the Winnsboro area with regard to a burglary of a building. The victim advised that unknown suspect(s) had entered her locked barn and stolen a Craftsman power washer valued at $1,300, plus a torque wrench set, a socket set and a rachet set. The case is under investigation.
On the same date, Deputy Nathan Adams was dispatched to the 600 block of FM 2088 in the Winnsboro area with regard to a criminal mischief report. The victim advised that unknown suspect(s) had cut all four tires on her 2005 Toyota. They are valued at $240. The case is under investigation.

November 1st: Deputy Zachary Soto conducted a traffic stop on CR 2330 and Hwy 37 in the Mineola area on a passenger car for having no license plate light. When the deputy made contact with the driver, the driver advised that his license was suspended due to a child support issue. When the vehicle was inventoried, drug paraphernalia was found. Jimmy Clifton Phillips of Mineola was placed under arrest for possession of drug paraphernalia and driving with an expired license.
On the same date, Sgt. Aaron Warren was dispatched to the 1400 block of Hwy 80 east at Jarvis College with regard to a 2005 Kia gold passenger car which had been keyed. The case is under investigation.
Also on this date, Sgt. Warren was dispatched to the 100 block of CR 3588 in the Winnsboro area with regard to a burglary. The victim advised that unknown suspect(s) had kicked in his backdoor and stolen seven firearms. These included a Winchester pellet gun, a Henry 22 caliber lever action shotgun, a Mossberg 20-gauge pump shotgun, a Mossberg 12-gauge pump old and worn slide shotgun, a Winchester 2-gauge break over shotgun, a 410 bolt action with clip of an unknown brand, and a 16-gauge single break shotgun, also of an unknown brand. The firearms are valued at over $1,400. The case is under investigation.
October 31st: Deputy Nathan Adams was advised to call a victim with regard to a theft. The victim advised that unknown suspect(s) had broken into his travel trailer at his deer lease. The suspect(s) had made entry through the back window of the trailer. He also advised that the suspect(s) had stolen his Monarch deer feed, a Moultrie game camera, a Bushnell game camera and a Wild Game camera, valued in total at over $2,200. The case is under investigation.
October 30th: Deputy Jimmie White was dispatched to CR 1960 in the Yantis area with regard to an intoxicated subject. On arrival, Ray Martin of Arp was placed under arrest for public intoxication.
On the same date, Deputy Samantha Sellers was dispatched to a structure fire in the 1300 block of FM 17 north in the Alba area. The victim advised that someone set his porch on fire. He advised that he had extinguished the fire with a fire extinguisher and a water hose. The victim did not report the fire until after he had spoken to his landlord. The case has been forwarded to Wood County Fire Marshal Randy Selman.
Also on this date, Deputy J.W. Williams was dispatched to the 1000 block of CR 3810 in the Hawkins area with regard to a disturbance in progress. On arrival, contact was made with the victim. He advised that his brother was barricaded in his bedroom. Contact was made with the suspect who was yelling, intoxicated, a displaying belligerent behavior. Austin William Henderson was placed under arrest for assault by threat.
October 29th: Deputy Sam Threadgill arrested a subject on Wood County warrants in the 100 block of PR 3882 in the Mineola area. Tommy Houck was arrested on motion to revoke probation - DWI - with a child passenger; motion to revoke - bail jumping/failure to appear and a new charge of prohibited substance in a correctional facility.
On the same date, Deputy Nathan Adams was dispatched to the 8400 block of FM 515 west in the Yantis area with regard. The victim advised that unknown suspect(s) had stolen the copper tubing from his air conditioning unit. The case is under investigation.
October 27th: Deputy David Hill was dispatched to the 500 block of CR 2840 in the Mineola area with regard to a criminal trespass report. The victim advised that she wanted a criminal trespass warning issued to a subject to stay off her property. Barry Fincher was issued a criminal trespass warning.
