Inmate medical provider selected
Meeting in regular session Friday, October 29, Wood County Commissioners approved a change in the management of the Lake Hawkins RV Park and selected a medical provider for inmates at the Wood County Jail.
Wood County Judge Bryan Jeanes was absent. Senior Commissioner
Roger Pace, Precinct-3 chaired the meeting.
Commissioners voted unanimously to accept the proposal of Lee and Marilyn Jenison to operate the county-owned Recreational Vehicle Park on Lake Hawkins. The Jenisons replace John and Estelene Warren who have had the contract for the past eight years. There were four bidders for the contract.
