Important voting dates coming up
Make a note of these dates: September 3rd is the first day voters can submit their applications for a ballot by mail. October 26th is the final day to receive applications for a ballot by mail. This means the date received, not postmarked.
October 4th is the final day that a person can register to vote in the November 2nd general election.
Early voting for the general election will begin on October 18th. This will take place in the basement of the Wood County Courthouse, weekdays between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Early voting on Saturday will be between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
The early voting period will end on October 29th.
On Election Day, November 2nd, there will not be any voting at the courthouse. All voting on election day will take place in the precinct where voters are registered.
