Suspect arrested after hiding out at HLR
On June 14th, the Wood County Sheriff's department received call concerning an abandoned vehicle in the 3900 block of FM 778 on an oil lease.
The vehicle contained a billfold with a subject's name and information. On checking, it was determined that the subject who left the vehicle abandoned was wanted for a parole violation by the State of Texas Parsons and Parole Division.
A search was made for the subject until 9 p.m. It was called off when it appeared that he had friends helping him escape.
Early on June 15th, a tip came in that the subject was being hidden by his girlfriend in the mobile home area (Section 3) at Holly Lake Ranch. After several other locations were checked, James David Shaddock, white male, age 43, was placed under arrest for violation of parole. Shaddock and his girlfriend, Jade Lynelle Rogers, were both taken into custody at her residence.Rogers, age 26, was arrested for hindering apprehension.
