Wood County Crime Stoppers offers cash rewards for information that leads to the arrest of a fugitive wanted in a case. When you call 903-763-CASH, your information to Crime Stoppers is confidential and you can remain anonymous.
When you give your information, you will be assigned a special reference number for your call. You can use this number at a later date to claim a reward if your information leads to an arrest. You do NOT need to give your name.
Crime Stoppers may pay a reward up to $1,000 for information on any warrant that leads to an arrest and indictment.

May 12th: Deputy Robbie Ballard was dispatched to Main Street in Yantis with regard to terroristic threats. The victim advised that her father came to her place of employment, threatened her and poked her in her chest. The case is under investigation.
May 11th: Deputy Zachary Soto was dispatched to the 6200 block of FM 2966 in the Yantis area with regard to an assault. The complainant advised that he was assaulted due to a disagreement over a key to a right-of-way gate entrance. The case is under investigation.
On the same date, Deputy Samantha Sellers was dispatched to Hwy 80 east one half mile east of FM 778 in the Mineola area with regard to a disturbance. On arrival, the deputy made contact with a female in a pickup truck. After investigation of both subjects involved, Linda Kay Worsham and Angela Rogers Toledo were placed under arrest for disorderly conduct-fighting, and public intoxication.
May 10th: Deputy James White met with a victim in the lobby of the sheriff's office with regard to an assault that took place in the 100 block of CR 4560 in the Winnsboro area. The victim advised that she was assaulted by her husband. The case is under investigation.
On the same date, Deputy Ballard was dispatched to the 1100 block of Hwy 37 north in the Quitman area with regard to a burglary. The victim advised that unknown suspect(s) had entered her residence and removed over $6,000 in household items. The victim advised that the items stolen included a six piece dining room table and chairs, a four piece dining table and chairs, an Ashley sofa and love seat, a wooden chest, end tables and several other items. The case is under investigation.
May 8th: Deputy David Hill was dispatched to the 6100 block of FM 515 in the Yantis area with regard to a burglary. The victim advised that unknown suspect(s) had entered his locked storage building and stolen a John Deere riding lawn mower, a 19-inch Orion color TV and a small dorm size refrigerator. The case is under investigation.
On the same date, Deputy Hill was dispatched to the 600 block of CR 3130 in the Quitman area with regard to a criminal trespass report. Sherri Dodd was issued a criminal trespass warning for the complainant's property.
Also on this date, Deputy J.W. Williams was dispatched to the 2900 block of Hwy 80 west in the Mineola area with regard to a theft. The victim advised that a Black smoker/grill that was built on a two-axle trailer had been stolen. The smoker/grill, valued at $5,500, was chained up and locked. The case is under investigation.
Also on this date, Deputy Williams was dispatched to the 600 block of CR 3802 in the Hawkins area with regard to a criminal mischief report. The victim advised that she and the suspect are divorced and she does not want him back on her property. Dennis Keith McMinn was issued a criminal trespass warning.
Finally, on this date, Deputy Rusty Owens was dispatched to the 3000 block of Hwy 154 west with regard to a theft. The victim advised that unknown suspect(s) had stolen four rod and reel combos valued at $1,400 from his boat. The case is under investigation.
May 7th: Deputy Zachary Soto, while of routine patrol, stopped a passenger car for speeding. Contact was made with the driver who had a strong odor of alcohol emitting from his person. On further investigation, Jason Anthony Salas was placed under arrest for driving under the influence minor and given a citation for an open container.
On the same date, Deputy Hill was dispatched to the 200 block of PR 8577 in the Winnsboro area with regard to an assault. The victim advised that her husband had assaulted her by grabbing her by the throat and pulling the phone out of the wall to prevent her calling for help. A warrant has been issued for Jody Don Osbourn.
May 6th: Deputy Hill was dispatched to the 4600 block of FM 2869 in the Winnsboro area with regard to a burglary. The victim advised that unknown suspect(s) had entered her locked barn and stolen a saddle, a Makita circular saw, a ratchet set and a Black and Decker cordless drill. The case is under investigation.
On the same date, Sgt. Lee Wilkins met with a victim in the lobby of the sheriff's office with regard to terroristic threats. The victim advised that a subject had threatened to burn down her home. The case is under investigation.
May 5th: Deputy James White was dispatched to the 100 block of PR 5184 in the Quitman area with regard to the burglary of a residence and a building. The victim advised that unknown suspect(s) had unlocked a storage building and stolen over $18,000 in computer equipment, tools and fishing equipment. The case is under investigation.

May 4th: Deputy White was dispatched to the 1200 block of CR 2210 in the Mineola area with regard to a criminal mischief report. The complainant advised he had to be towed to the repair shop due to unknown suspect(s) cutting the air cleaner boot and putting bearings in the motor. The case is under investigation.
On the same date, Deputy Soto was dispatched to the 5000 block of FM 14 north in the Alba area with regard to the theft of a Garmin GPS system valued at $700, and a Lorance sonar unity valued at$400. The victim advised that both items were taken from his boat. The case is under investigation.
May 3rd: Deputy Sellers was dispatched to the 100 block of CR 1700 in the Yantis area with regard to a criminal mischief report. The complainant advised that his home was covered in mud from the bottom to the roof when unknown suspect(s) had spun their tires in his yard, The case is under investigation.
Deputy Williams was dispatched to the 5500 block of Hwy 154 east with regard to a theft. The complainant advised that a 15-foot Magnolia tree had been stolen. The tree is valued at $75. The case is under investigation.
May 2nd: Deputy Sellers was dispatched to a structure fire in the 400 block of CR 2121 in the Quitman area. On arrival, Wood County Fire Marshal Randy Selman was contacted and the scene was turned over to Selman for further investigation.
On the same date, Deputy Sellers was dispatched to the 100 block of CR 2175 in the Quitman area with regard to the burglary or residence and a UUMV. The complainant advised that no force was used to enter the residence. The suspect(s) stole two prescriptions for his dog's heart condition and a black 1985 Ford F-150 pickup. The case is under investigation.
May 1st: Deputy Williams was dispatched to the 2600 block of FM 14 south in the Hawkins area with regard to a criminal trespass report. The complainant advised that she does not want her daughter's boyfriend back on her property. Dale Lynn Sasser was issued a criminal trespass warning.
April 30th: Deputy Soto was dispatched to the 600 block of CR 2375 in the Mineola area with regard to a criminal mischief report. The complainant advised that she did not want the father of her granddaughter back on her property. Henry Villarreal was issued a criminal trespass warning.
On the same date, Deputy Sam Threadgill was dispatched to the 8400 block of FM 49 in the Mineola area with regard to a theft of copper. The victim advised that unknown suspect(s) had stolen 190 feet of copper welding cable valued at $675. The case is under investigation.
April 29th: Deputy Soto, when on routine patrol, observed a vehicle sitting on CR 3420 off the roadway. On making contact with the driver, he noticed an odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle. Benjamin Franjo Higley was placed under arrest for possession of marijuana.
On the same date, Deputy Owens was dispatched to the 300 block of CR 2310 in the Mineola area with regard to an assault. The victim advised that she was assaulted by her step daughter. The case is under investigation.
