Wood County Crime Stoppers offers cash rewards for information which leads to the arrest of a fugitive wanted in a case. When you call 903-763-CASH, your information to Crime Stoppers is confidential and you can remain anonymous. When you give information, you will be assigned a special reference number for your call. You can use this number at a later date to claim a reward if your information leads to an arrest. You need NOT give your name.
Crime Stoppers may pay a reward up to $1,000 for information on any warrant that leads to an arrest and indictment.

March 30th: Deputy Soto was dispatched to the 3300 block of FM 2869 north in the Winnsboro area with regard to a burglary. The deputy made contact with the property owner who advised that unknown suspect(s) had entered his unlocked storage shed. The suspects had stolen two auger motors valued at $400 and a bucket of various tools valued at $200. The case is under investigation.
March 29th: Deputy Williams was dispatched to the 2800 block of FM 852 west in the Winnsboro area with regard to a stolen 53" semi trailer. On investigation the trailer had been reported stolen out of Hopkins County. The trailer was recovered and released to its owner. Hopkins County investigators were notified.
On the same date, Deputy Rusty Owens was dispatched to the 700 block of FM 2869 in the Quitman area with regard to a criminal mischief report. The complainant advised that unknown suspect(s) had bashed her mailbox. The case is under investigation.
Also on this date, Deputy Williams was dispatched to the 3200 block of FM 312 north in the Winnsboro area with regard to a theft. The complainant advised that he currently lives in Tyler but had some jewelry stored at this location. The complainant advised that suspect(s) had gone through his boxes and removed a Rolex watch valued at $2,000, a platinum ring valued at $1,200 and a coin collections valued at $750. The case is under investigation.
March 27th: Sgt. Jayson Farmer was dispatched to a barn off of FM 2225 in the Quitman area with regard to a report of a burglary. The complainant advised that his camper which was stored in the barn had been broken into. He advised that the camper was locked and that the door was damaged by the suspect(s). He also advised that an electric skillet, toys, a DVD player, plus DVDs and several other items at a value of over $1,800 were taken. The case is under investigation.
On the same date, Deputy Matt Gann was dispatched to the 9000 block of FM 779 in the Alba area with regard to an assault. The complainant advised that her husband had assaulted her. On investigation, Danny Lynn McCormack was placed under arrest for assault by contact.
Also on this date, Deputy Williams was dispatched to Loop 564 NW in the Mineola area with regard to a stolen tractor. The complainant advised that unknown suspect(s) had stolen his 2008 Kubota M4800 orange tractor with a front-end loader plus a Rhino shredder. The case is under investigation.
March 25th: Sgt. Farmer was dispatched to the 600 block of CR 1590 in the Alba area with regard to a theft report. The complainant advised that unknown suspect(s) had entered his unlocked carport, siphoned fuel from his Ford pickup, and stolen three fishing rod combos and a tackle box full of tackle. The case is under investigation.
On the same date, Deputy Guy Powell was dispatched to the 1300 block of CR 2380 in the Alba area with regard to a burglary. The complainant advised that unknown suspect(s) had entered his travel trailer and removed a Carrier A/C/heating window unit valued at $600. The case is under investigation.
March 24th: Deputy Zachary Soto spoke by public service to a suspect with regard to an instance to criminal trespass. The suspect was advised that he was no longer welcome at the 100 block of PR 6254 in the Mineola area. Nicholas Brock was issued a criminal trespass warning.

March 23rd: Deputy Williams was dispatched to FM 2225 in the Quitman area to speak with a complainant with regard to an unknown suspect(s) breaking into his boat house. He advised that the boathouse is located in the 1600 block of CR 1260 in the Quitman area. The complainant advised that over $20,000 in fishing equipment was stolen. The case is under investigation.
March 22nd: Deputy Owens spoke to a complainant in the 900 block of CR 3145 in the Quitman area by public service with regard to unknown suspect(s) entering her locked residence twice and taking over $2,000. She said she knew the money would not be recovered and she wanted to document the incident. She also requested extra patrol of her residence.
On the same date, Deputy Williams was dispatched to CR 1340 in the Quitman area with regard to a theft at an oil lease. The complainant advised that unknown suspect(s) took two white ten gallon propane tanks from the front of a trailer. The tanks have a valued to $500. The case is under investigation.
March 19th: Deputy David Hill met a complainant in the lobby of the Sheriff's Office. She advised that her neighbor in the 1000 block of PR 6395 in the Alba area had trash and debris all over their yard. The property in question is in a gated community. The case is closed.
March 18th: Deputy Rusty Owens met a complainant in the lobby of the Sheriff's Office with regard to a terroristic threat that took place in the 500 block of CR 3987. The complainant advised that her ex-husband had called and advised her that his life was over and so was hers. The case is under investigation.
March 17th: Sgt Lee Wilkins was dispatched to the 800 block of CR 2920 in the Alba area with regard to a stolen firearm. The complainant advised that he gae his 300 Savage rifle to a friend to let another man use to destroy some wild hogs. He said he has not seen his rifle since. The case is under investigation.
