Wood County Sheriff Report

November 12th: Deputy Sam Threadgill responded to 8428 FM 779 in Alba on a reported theft. Some unknown person(s) had stolen a washing machine from the residence. There are possible suspect(s) in the case and the investigation is continuing.

November 10th: Deputy Mike Taylor received information of possible narcotic activity at 167 Holmes Street in Hawkins. Jasmine Gordon was found to be in possession of paraphernalia. Gordon was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and taken to the Wood County Jail.

November 9th: Cpl. David Barkley observed a vehicle traveling north on Hwy 37 and speeding. The driver was identified as Dakota Griffin Graham, 18, of Sulphur Springs. Graham had been drinking an alcoholic beverage. The passengers were identified as Trevor Terrell Norris, 20, of Rockwall and John Herbert Brister, 19, of Rockwall. Norris and Brister were also under the influence of an alcoholic beverage. There were two empty beer cans in the vehicle. Graham, Norris and Brister were all arrested for consumption of alcohol by a minor and taken to the Wood County Jail.
