Bradley re-elected Mayor Rucker, Green re-elected

Mayor Sam Bradley held off two other candidates for the City of Hawkins top post in the City of Hawkins election, Saturday, May 10. Former Mayor Wayne Kirkpatrick and current Alderman Tom Parker challenged Bradley for the office after his first term.

Bradley received strong support in a very weak turnout for the election. He garnered 75 votes to 19 each for Kirkpatrick and Parker.

Alderman Jackie Rucker ran unopposed for the Alderman-III seat and was re-elected with 87 votes. James Green held off challenger Doug Dixon by a single vote 55-to-54 for the Alderman-1 seat.
