After three days of testimony and closing arguments, on November 8th, a jury found 41-year-old Erick Wolf guilty of two charges of indecency with a child by sexual contact.

After the jury returned the two guilty verdicts, the jury heard arguments in the penalty phase of the trial. After deliberations, the jury sentenced Wolf to 15 years in prison and a $10,000 fine on each charge.

Judge Tim Boswell presided over the trial and ordered that the sentences in each case be served consecutively. Angela Converse was the lead prosecutor in the case. She was assisted by Brandon Baade, who recently joined the Wood County District Attorney's Office as a prosecutor.
"Justice was served. Hopefully the victim and the family can begin to rebuild their lives," said Converse.
