Wood County Crime Stoppers offers cash rewards for information that leads to the arrest of a fugitive wanted in a case. When you call 903-763-CASH, your information to Crime Stoppers is confidential and you can remain anonymous.
When you give your information, you will be assigned a special reference number for your call. You can use this number at a later date to claim a reward if your information leads to an arrest. You do NOT need to give your name.
Crime Stoppers may pay a reward up to $1,000 for information on any warrant that leads to an arrest and indictment.

November 20th: Deputy J.W. Williams was dispatched to the 500 block of CR 2840 in the Mineola area with regard to a burglary of a vehicle. The victim advised that unknown suspect(s) had broken into his maroon 1991 Chevrolet pickup and stolen a Sony DVD player, a wrist watch and two prescription medications, valued at $185. The suspect(s) had broken the door handle on the driver's side to gain entry. The case is under investigation.
November 19th: Deputy Nathan Adams was dispatched to the 2000 block of Hwy 154 east in the Quitman area with regard to the unauthorized use of a vehicle. The victim advised that his son had stolen his tan 1993 Chevy pickup. A warrant has been issued for Steven Lehmann for this offense.

November 16th: Deputy Josh O'Grady was dispatched to the 100 block of PR 5551 in the Alba area with regard to a report of criminal mischief. The victim advised that he recognized the subject who had attempted to run away. On investigation, Michael McMinn was placed under arrest for criminal trespass.
November 15th: Deputy Adams was dispatched to the 4400 block of FM 14 south in the Hawkins area with regard to a criminal mischief report. The victim advised that unknown suspect(s) had scratched up the framing of his front door. The case is under investigation.
On the same date, Deputy Chris Bettis met a victim in the lobby of the sheriff's office with report to the vandalizing of his storage buildings on Hwy 154 east. The victim advised that unknown suspect(s) had cut three locks and removed the hasp off three doors. It is unknown if any items were missing pending notification of property owners. The case is under investigation.
Also on this date, Deputy Robbie Ballard was dispatched to the 5400 block of FM 14 south in the Hawkins area with regard to a burglary. The victim advised that unknown suspect(s) had entered his locked residence and stolen Toshiba laptop computer, a Sony DVD/VCR combo, a Coleman generator, a Cannon digital camera, an AIWA bookshelf stereo with CD player, a 20-gauge New England firearm single shot, a 50-inch Samsung flat screen television and five fishing rods and reels. The item total $5,000 in value. The case is under investigation.
November 13th: Deputy Guy Powell was dispatched to the 100 block of CR 1689 in the Alba area with regard to a criminal mischief report. The victim advised that an unknown suspect had pried a padlock off the door of his shop. No entry was made into the shop. The padlock was valued at $25. The case is under investigation.
On the same date Deputy Rusty Owens was dispatched to the 200 block of CR 1835 in the Yantis area with regard to a theft. The victim advised that unknown suspect(s) had stolen a Stihl weed eater, a Stihl pole trimmer, a Troybuilt power blower, and a Solo backpack sprayer, all valued at $1,500. The case is under investigation.
Also on this date, Deputy David Hill was dispatched to the 1400 block of Hwy 80 east (Jarvis College) with regard to an assault. The victim advised that he was assaulted by a fellow student. On investigation, Giomonie Alonzo Tyrone was placed under arrest for assault causing bodily injury.
November 12th: Deputy Hill met with a victim in the 1500 block of Hwy 80 east in the Mineola area. The victim advised that unknown suspect(s) had stolen two outside compressors to his central air and heat system. The case is under investigation.
On the same date, Deputy Zachary Solo was dispatched to the 100 block of CR 4850 in the Winnsboro area with regard to a burglary. The victim advised that his home was locked and that unknown suspect(s) had entered the home and stolen a bottle of prescription medication. The case is under investigation.
November 11th: Deputy Nathan Adams was dispatched to be 1900 block of CR 4490 in the Winnsboro area with regard to a report of animal cruelty. The victim advised that there were three horses that were not being taken care of. The case is under investigation.
November 10th: Deputy Samantha Sellers was dispatched to the 500 block of CR 4165 in the Winnsboro area with regard to a criminal mischief report. The victim advised that unknown suspect(s) had cut his fence. The cost to repair the fence is $200. The case is under investigation.
On the same date, Deputy Owens was dispatched to a location on FM 17 north of FM 515 in the Yantis area with regard to a theft. The victim advised that unknown suspect(s) had stolen 270 feet of copper wire, 240 feet of copper wire and a Campbell-Hauser blue 20-gallon air compressor valued at $3,850. The case is under investigation.
Also on this date, Deputy Williams was dispatched to CR 3430 and CR 3431 in the Hawkins area with regard to a copper theft. The victim advised that unknown suspect(s) had stolen 2,700 feet of neutral copper wire valued at over $13,000. The case is under investigation.
November 9th: Deputy Owens was dispatched to the 1400 block of Hwy 11 east (Winnsboro livestock) in the Winnsboro area with regard to a burglary. The victim advised that he was not sure if the doors to the building were locked. The victim advised that unknown suspect(s) had stolen a Vizio 50-inch flat screen television and two 26-inch flat screen television valued at a total of $1,600. The case is under investigation.
