Wood County Crime Stoppers offers cash rewards for information that leads to the arrest of a fugitive wanted in a case. When you call 903-763-CASH, your information to Crime Stoppers is confidential and you can remain anonymous.
When you give your information, you will be assigned a special reference number for your call. You can use this number at a later date to claim a reward if your information leads to an arrest. You do NOT need to give your name.
Crime Stoppers may pay a reward up to $1,000 for information on any warrant that leads to an arrest and indictment.

April 28th: Deputy Zachary Soto was dispatched to the 400 block of CR 2840 in the Mineola area with regard to a report of criminal trespass. Billy Ray White was issued a criminal trespass warning for the complainant's property.
April 27th: Deputy Sam Threadgill was dispatched to the 100 block of CR 2263 in the Mineola area with regard to a burglary. The victim advised that unknown suspect(s) had entered her unlocked residence and stolen a ¾ carat diamond wedding ring valued at $3,000, a gold heart-shaped diamond necklace valued at $1,500, a heart-shaped emerald and diamond necklace valued at $400 and a gold nugget cross pendant valued at $150. The case is under investigation.
On the same date, Deputy Soto was dispatched to CR 2941 in the Golden area with regard to an assault. The victim advised that her husband had pulled her out of her vehicle and shaken her. When some subjects came to the aid of the victim, the suspect advised that he had a gun. The gun as located and Justin Dean Long was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Bond was set at $25,000.
Also on this date, Deputy J.W. Williams was dispatched to the 5300 block of FM 69 in the Coke area with regard to a burglary of a motor vehicle. The victim advised that unknown suspect(s) had entered her unlocked 2006 Ford Free Star van and had stolen a purse that contained the victim's driver's license, a stethoscope valued at $20, an electronic blood pressure cuff valued at $65, and an electronic thermometer valued at $35. The case is under investigation.
April 26th: Sgt. Lee Wilkins was dispatched to the 4600 block of Hwy 154 west in the Yantis area with regard to an intoxicated person. Edward Michael Kenneweg was arrested for public intoxication.
On the same date, Sgt. Wilkins was dispatched to the 100 block of CR 2843 in the Hawkins area with regard to a theft. The victim advised that her wallet had been stolen from her dresser in her bedroom. The wallet contained her Social Security card, driver's license and $180 in cash.
Also on this date, Deputy Williams was dispatched to a burglary in the 400 block of PR 5291 in the Yantis area. The victim advised that the suspect(s) had entered her barn with a key that she had hidden on the property. The victim's husband will make an itemized list of the stolen property. The care is under investigation.
April 25th: Deputy David Hill was dispatched to the 800 block of CR 4510 in the Winnsboro area with regard to a theft of copper. The complainant advised that unknown suspect(s) had stolen the copper wire from his Trane air conditioning unit valued at $3,000. The suspect(s) also broke a window and removed a sheet of tin trying to gain access into the residence. The case is under investigation
On the same date, Deputy Williams was dispatched to the 200 block of CR 3526 in the Hawkins area with regard to a burglary of a motor vehicle. The complainant advised that unknown suspect(s) had stolen her purse with its contents from her unlocked silver four-door Hyundai passenger car. This case is under investigation.
April 24th: Deputy Samantha Sellers was dispatched to the 100 block of CR 2244 in the Mineola area with regard to a theft. The complainant advised that unknown suspect(s) had removed a 16-foot Sears aluminum extension ladder valued at $125. The case is under investigation.
On the same date, Deputy Williams was dispatched to the 7500 block of FM 779 in the Alba area with regard to a burglary. The complainant advised that unknown suspect(s) had entered his residence and stolen two handguns, a shotgun and a BB gun. He advised that there was no sign of forced entry. The case is under investigation.
Also on this date, Deputy Hill was dispatched to the 600 block of FM 115 in the Winnsboro area with regard to a theft. The victim advised that unknown suspect(s) had stolen several fishing rods and reels valued at $700 and welding leads to his welding machine valued at $150. The case is under investigation.
April 23rd: Deputy Threadgill was dispatched to the 100 block of PR 6882 with regard to an assault. On speaking with the victim, he advised that he had been hit and bitten by his ex-wife. Heather Conley was arrested for assault with bodily injury/family violence.
On the same date, Deputy Hill was dispatched to the 600 block of FM 115 in the Winnsboro area with regard to a theft. The complainant advised that unknown suspect(s) had stolen 50 feet of ground copper wire and 150 feet of working copper wire. The case is under investigation.
Also on this date, Deputy Soto was dispatched to the 300 block of FM 564 west in the Mineola area where employees advised that two black males had entered the store and stolen a 19-inch Savio television set. The suspects left in a white passenger car. The TV is valued at $300. The case is under investigation.
April 22nd: Deputy James White was dispatched to the 300 block of FM 1002 in the Winnsboro area with regard to an assault that took place in the 700 block of CR 4960. The victim advised that she had gone to her ex-husband's residence to drop off their daughter and was assaulted by her ex-husband. The victim advised that she was choked and shoved. The case is under investigation.
Deputy Hill was dispatched to the 300 block of CR 4570 in the Winnsboro area with regard to a theft. The victim advised that a $2,000 steel water storage tank had been stolen. The tank is four feet wide and 15 feet tall. The case is under investigation.
April 21st: Deputy Soto was dispatched to the 1700 block of CR 2954 in the Alba area with regard to a burglary of a building. The victim advised that unknown suspect(s) had stolen a blue five-gallon air compressor and two gas cans. The case is under investigation.

April 21st: Deputy James White met with a victim in the lobby of the sheriff's office with regard to an assault that took place in the 5700 block of Hwy 37 north in the Winnsboro area. The victim reported that her boyfriend of six months shoved her and shoved her face in a wall mirror which injured her lip. Christopher Pyron was arrested for assault by contact.
April 20th: Sgt. Lee Wilkins was dispatched to the 900 block of CR 3810 with regard to a burglary. The complainant advised that unknown suspect(s) had entered his locked home and removed several items. The complainant advised that two putters, an electrical golf ball retriever and four cans of Sprite were stolen. The case is under investigation.
April 18th: Deputy Chris Bettis was dispatched to the 1100 block of CR 2260 in the Golden area with regard to a terroristic threat. The complainant, who is a minor, advised that her father threatened to kill her and her mother. The case is under investigation.
April 17th: Deputy Aaron Warren was dispatched to the 3500 block of FM 312 north with regard to a structure fire. The complainant advised that the old Stout School has been abandoned for many years. He advised that he was awakened by the bright glow from the fire and called 911. The case is under investigation by Fore Marshall Randy Selman.
On the same date, Sgt. Jayson Farmer was dispatched to CR 1336 and CR 1340 in the Quitman area with regard to a theft. The complainant informed that he had checked the oil well and advised that unknown suspect(s) had stolen over $4,700 worth of oil filed equipment. The suspect(s) stole a Murphy high pressure shutdown switch, a Kimray motor valve, a Liquilift II computer controller, a low pressure regulator and a Ferguson Beauregard plunger catcher.
April 16th: Deputy Guy Powell was dispatched to the 2000 block of Hwy 37 south in the Mineola area with regard to a stolen dirt bike. The complainant advised that her daughter's dirt bike was parked unsecured on the front porch of her residence. The dirt bike is a 2010 lime green Kawasaki KLX 110 CAF valued at $2,300. The case is under investigation.
On the same date, Deputy Threadgill was dispatched to the 500 block of CR 2436 in the Mineola area with regard to a theft. The complainant advised that she was having a garage sale and laid her money bag down to help a customer. An unknown suspect(s) stole the blue bank money bag containing $2,300 in cash. The case is under investigation.
Also on this date, Deputy Soto was dispatched to the 900 block of CR 2332 in the Mineola area with regard to missing puppies. The complainant advised that when he returned home, his three seven-week-old Doberman puppies were missing. They are valued at $750.
Finally on this date, Deputy Soto met a complainant in the lobby of the sheriff's office with regard to vehicles causing a disturbance on CR 2425. The complainant advised that drivers with loud exhaust pipes were reviving their engines throughout the night.
April 14th: Deputy Nathan Adams was dispatched to the 2000 block of Hwy 154 east in the Quitman area with regard to an assault. The complainant advised that her son had pushed her down and kicked her. Steven Wayne Lehmann was arrested for assault causing bodily injury/family violence with previous conviction. Lehmann was convicted of assault causing bodily injury in 2008.
