Wood County Crime Stoppers offers cash reward for information that leads to the arrest of a wanted fugitive. When you call 903-763-CASH any information you give to Crime Stoppers is confidential and you can remain anonymous. When you give your information you will be assigned a special reference number for your call. You can use this number at a later date to claim a reward if your information leads to an arrest. You need not give your name.
Crime Stoppers may pay a reward up to $1,000 for information on any warrant that leads to an arrest and indictment.

Nov. 23rd: Deputy J.W. Williams saw a man walking on CR 3440 in Hawkins. The man was unsteady on his feet. An odor of alcohol was emitting from his person. After conducting a field sobriety test, David Keith was arrested for public intoxication.
On the same date, Deputy Zachary Soto was dispatched to the 400 block of CR 4591 in Winnsboro with regard to a dog bite. The complainant advised that she was walking her dog down the county road when a dog came out of the woods and attacked her dog. The complainant's dog was on a leash when the dog attacked. The complainant reached down to separate the dogs and received a bite on her finger that did not require stitches.
Nov. 22nd: Deputy Sam Threadgill was dispatched to CR 1600 at CR 1602 in Alba with regard to a tan and black 2002 Ford F-250 pickup parked on the side of the roadway. On checking the license plate number, it was discovered that the vehicle had been reported stolen out of Keller, Texas. The vehicle was in good condition. The Keller Police Department was contacted and they advised that the owner was enroute to Wood County to retrieve his vehicle. The case is closed.
Nov. 21st: Deputy Threadgill was dispatched to Winding Trail at Holly Lake Ranch with regard to a burglary. The complainant advised that unknown suspect(s) had broken into her locked home. She advised that suspect(s) had removed a television set, a grandfather clock, several antique knick-knacks and a cast iron flower pot. The case is under investigation.
Nov. 18th: Deputy Samantha Sellers was dispatched to the 1000 block of CR 2700 in Mineola with regard to a theft. The complainant advised that his Stihl chainsaw was stolen from his unlocked workshop. The case is under investigation.

Nov. 18th: Sgt. Lee Williams was dispatched to the 1300 block of FM 312 in Winnsboro with regard to a criminal mischief report. The complainant advised that her mailbox was damaged by unknown suspect(s). The case is under investigation.
Nov. 16th: Deputy Samantha Sellers was dispatched to the 400 block of CR 1460 in Quitman with regard to a theft. The complainant advised that unknown suspect(s) had entered her locked storage building and removed six nail guns, two framing guns, and a leaf blower. The case is under investigation.
Nov. 13th: Deputy Matthew Gann was dispatched to the 1400 block of Hwy 80 east in Hawkins with regard to a burglary of a motor vehicle. The complainant advised that unknown suspect(s) had entered his 1994 Lexus four-door passenger car and removed the radio which was valued at over $1,200. The vehicle is insured. The case is under investigation.
Nov. 12th: Deputy Mark Miller met with a complainant in the lobby of the sheriff's department with regard to a theft of medication. The complainant advised that 80 to 100 methadone pills were taken from his residence. The complainant advised that his home was unlocked. This case is under investigation.
