Wood County Crime Stoppers offers cash rewards for information that leads to the arrest of a fugitive wanted in a case. When you call 903-763-CASH, your information to Crime Stoppers is confidential and you will remain anonymous. On giving your information you will be assigned a special numbers reference for your call. You can use this number at a later date to claim a reward if your information leads to an arrest. You need not give your name. Crime Stoppers may pay a reward up to $1,000 for information on any warrant that leads to an arrest and indictment.

October 27th: Sgt. Lee Wilkins was dispatched to the 5600 block of FM 2869 in Hawkins. The complainant advised that her son had taken and used the credit card without her permission. The case is under investigation.
October 26th: Sgt. Jayson Farmer was dispatched to the 1300 block of FM 514 in Yantis. The complainant advised that unknown suspect(s) had put sugar in the gas tank of his pickup. The case is under investigation.
October 24th: Deputy Rusty Owens was dispatched to the 2800 block of FM 17 north with regard to a criminal mischief report. The complainant advised that unknown suspect(s) had made entry into the building by prying the deadbolt and breaking it. He also advised that the alarm must have scared the suspect(s) away as he did not notice anything missing or disturbed. The case is under investigation.
October 23rd: Deputy Owens was dispatched to the 400 block of PR 5291 with regard to another criminal mischief report. The complainant advised that she is a realtor and is trying to sell the house. She said that when she came to the house she noticed that someone had thrown s brick through the back door and broken the glass. The case is under investigation.
October 22nd: Deputy Owens met with a complainant in the lobby of the sheriff's office. She advised that her 1997 Ford Taurus GL had been stolen from her front yard. The Case is under investigation.

October 22nd: Deputy Aaron Warren was dispatched to the 4600 block of Hwy 154 west in response to an alarm. On arrival, the owner was already on the scene. On further inspection, it was discovered that several security lights were broken out and the phone at the rear of the building had been cut. The suspect even removed and took the outdoor alarm siren. The case is under investigation.
October 21st: Sgt. Lee Williams was dispatched to FM 2966 in Yantis with regard to a theft of an outdoor air conditioning unit valued at $1,000. The complainant advised that the suspect(s) stole the wiring and copper tubing off the unoccupied home the night before. The value of the 75 feet of wire and copper taken is not known. The case is under investigation.
October 20th: Deputy Samantha Sellers was dispatched to the 900 block of CR 3689 in Hawkins with regard to a possible incidence of arson. The complainant advised that unknown suspect(s) had punctured holes in the tires of his backhoe. He also advised that the suspect(s) had attempted to set the backhoe on fire. The case has been forwarded to the Wood County Fire Marshall's office for further investigation. The complainant advised that the backhoe was not insured.
October 18th: Deputy Mark Miller was dispatched to the 300 block of CR 4930 in Leesburg with regard to a stolen Kawasaki Brute Force four-wheeler with life kit and camo, valued at $15,000. The complainant advised that his four-wheeler was in an enclosed unlocked trailer at the side of his residence. The case is under investigation.
October 17th: Deputy Arthur Judge was dispatched to the 200 block of CR 3880 in Mineola with regard to several dead calves being illegally dumped. The complainant advised that he saw a blue Ford F150 leave the area where the calves were dumped.
On the same date, Deputy Mark Miller was dispatched to the 5700 block of FM 2869 north in Winnsboro with regard to a burglary report. The complainant advised that a Taurus 9 mm and a Taurus 45 caliber hand gun were stolen from his unlocked home. The case is under investigation.
October 16th: Deputy Matthew Gann was dispatched to the 500 block of CR1977 in Yantis. The complainant advised that unknown suspect(s) removed a Lawrence Sonar unit and the wiring harness, valued at $900, from his boat. The case is under investigation.
October 15th: Deputy Rusty Owens was dispatched to the 2200 block of CR 2330 in Mineola with regard to an alarm. The complainant advised that the front window of the residence was open. Deputy Owens checked the residence for a suspect and did not find anyone in the residence. The complainant entered the residence and shut the alarm off. After checking the residence, the complainant could not find anything missing.
October 14th: Deputies Samantha Sellers and Sam Threadgill were dispatched to the 500 block of CR 3810 in Hawkins due to a 911 hang-up. On arrival, the complainant advised that he and his common law wife were verbally arguing and he wanted her to leave. After speaking with both parties, they agreed to contact the Justice of the Peace about separating their property and going their separate ways.
