Stolen motorcycle tip turns up methamphetamine

An anonymous tip made on February 1st alleged that someone at Young's Paint and Body Shop was cutting up stolen motorcycles.

Lt. Miles Tucker, and Sergeants Terry Bevill and Kelly Cole, all of the Wood County Sheriff's department arrived on the scene. A check of the location revealed approximately four grams of methamphetamine found at the location inside a pickup truck. The truck was seized and Emmett Leon Lambert, 44, was arrested for warrants out of Van, Texas.

The investigation into the stolen motorcycles is still underway. A warrant for Lambert is being issued for possession of a controlled substance - methamphetamine - a third degree felony.
