HLR Food Services Vote Underway

E-mail Print PDF

Holly Lake Ranch members have received a ballot for a referendum on the future of food services operations at the Ranch. The vote has been initiated by the administration and the elected B-Board members and presents three distinct choices for members.

One choice is: Retain full food services operations at the "19th Hole" and the "Fore Seasons" under the direction of an outside management firm with a monthly food credit charge of $20 ($12 for singles, widows and widowers) per member.

The second choice is: Retain limited food service operations at the "19th Hole" under the direction of an outside management firm with a monthly food credit of $10 ($6 for singles, widows and widowers) per member.

The third choice is: Shut down all food services and continue only necessary expenses such as bank notes, taxes, insurance, utilities and maintenance at a cost of approximately $5.77 per month from each member's dues.

Should voters choose either of the first two choices, the food charges will take the form of an assessment and be billed on your monthly dues statement. Members will then receive a credit for food purchases. Any purchases exceeding the credit will be billed with the regular dues statement.

Voters must print their name, section and lot number on the completed ballot. The ballots are to be mailed to PO Box 1157, Holly Lake Ranch, TX 75765 and received by Tuesday, November 20.
